Brett Browning is Executive Vice President of Product Development and Chief Technology Officer at Argo AI. While a senior faculty member at Carnegie Mellon’s Robotics Institute, Brett pursued field robotics research in defense, oil and gas, mining and automotive applications. He has extensive experience leading both small, specialized teams, and larger operations. While at Uber ATG, he led and grew the mapping and localization team from its inception. He received his Ph.D. (2000) and bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and science from the University of Queensland.
