James Hays, Ph.D., is a principal scientist at Argo AI and an associate professor at Georgia Tech’s School of Interactive Computing, where he focuses on using internet-scale data and crowd-sourcing to improve scene understanding and allow smarter image synthesis and manipulation. His research interests span computer vision, computer graphics, and robotics. At Argo AI he helps develop scene understanding methods and studies how we can efficiently annotate and learn from the rich data we are collecting.
