Dr. Reinhard Stolle

Reinhard Stolle, Ph.D., is Vice President, Argo Munich. He spent much of his career developing AI software in an applied research setting at the intersection of symbolic reasoning and number crunching. After having developed substantial amounts of code in the Lisp/Emacs world at Xerox PARC, he became a software developer with BMW, where he worked on software for infotainment, body and driver assistance. In his leadership roles, he built various software organizations within BMW, including the lab of BMW Car IT in Ulm and the AI unit for autonomous driving. Reinhard holds a PhD in CS from the University of Colorado at Boulder and was a postdoctoral fellow in the Knowledge Systems Lab at Stanford University.
